This is why a font converter can be useful. If you have an old/rare font file that you’d like to install on your computer, converting it to a more common format is probably the easiest way!
The font conversion tool on this page is free and works in your browser, so you don’t need to download anything. You don’t need to enter your email, complete a survey, or anything else. Just follow the instructions below to get started!
To use this tool, you’ll first need to ensure your font file will work. Our service can convert 19 different formats:
bin, cff, dfont, eot, gsf, otb, otf, pfa, pfb, ps, pt3, sfd, svg, t42, tfm, ttc, ttf, woff, woff2
Ensure your file is in one of the proper formats before moving on to the next step. If your font is not one of these 19 formats, our tool won’t work for you, unfortunately.
Once you know your font file will work, you’ll need to select which format you want it to become after the conversion. You can choose between five formats: TTF, WOFF, WOFF2, OTF, or SVG. Choose your preferred format using the buttons at the top of the tool. If you don’t know which one is best, we recommend going with WOFF2, as this will work on the web, Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS and provide terrific compression.
With your selection made, now you can upload your font(s). You can upload up to 20 files at once — they don’t need to be all in the same format, but they will all come out as one of the five formats you just selected.
Once you upload the files, our system will automatically begin the conversion process. When finished, you can download each new font file individually by hitting the “DOWNLOAD” button underneath its thumbnail. To save time, you can wait for all the conversions to finish and then hit the “DOWNLOAD ALL” button to grab them all in one ZIP file.
When you’ve got all your new font conversions, you can hit the “CLEAR QUEUE” button to start again. Feel free to use this tool as much as you like, as there are no timers or limits.
